Say hello to Baby Galang.  This is a picture at 8 weeks old in Mommy's tummy.  = )

We won't know for a while if Baby will be a boy or a girl so for now his/her name will be Baby.

Just can't believe it sometimes

Looking back at 2006 it's hard to believe that its already done.  So many good things happened that I am so thankful for.  In the center of all of it was my hubbers, my family, and my dear friends.   I look back at 2006 and I can't believe how completely blessed I am.  I sit awake at night and thank God that he's given me such a good life and such wonderful people to fill my life with.  I sometimes wonder if it's all a dream and I'll wake up and I'll be sad...but then I turn around and there's Alvin smiling back at me and I know that it must be true, this is my life.  And now that it's 2007 I'm even more excited  and more thankful that this year will be the year that Alvin and I become parents!!

Ok, enough with the emo blog!  Sorry, my hormones are craziness right now!

Ia Oe E Ka La

Woohoo!!  My first hula competition!!  It was so very stressful, but so very fun.  Ia Oe E Ka La was held Nov. 3-5 at the Alamenda County Fair Grounds.  It was a lot of work, a lot of stress, but so much aloha!!

Here is a picture our our soloist Nisa and our kumu.  This is a picture of her kahiko.  She's such a very very beautiful dancer!  We're proud of you.

I was so very very proud of our keiki!!  I cried while watching them!  Good job girls.

Woohoo!!  Purple velvet dresses!  And yes, that is Natalie!!  Her voice is amazing!  Her, Eo and Chad were all so funny.  Thank you guys for honoring us with your talents and singing Nani Hanalei for us.

And here we are all in our kahiko gear.  Yes, we did make all our adornments, no, they are not plastic! 

And yay, I had supporters!  Thank you guys!

I don't know if i'll ever get the opportunity to do this all again, so I'll cherish this forever!!  Thank you!!

Weekend with the bro

 So my bro has moved down to San Diego and is going to SDSU.  I'm so very proud of him, but so very sad that he's gone.    But thanks to AIM I talk to him everyday still.

While we were down in SoCal we decided to be tourists!! 

I couldn't remember the last time we went to the zoo, so to the zoo we went. 

Who knew we'd need more than 5 hours to get around the whole zoo?!  We didn't get to see all the animals we wanted to, but I did get to see the meerkats!!!  (Thank you HD for getting me hooked on Meerkat Manor!!  Hey everything looks better on HD!)

After the day at the zoo, Alvin and I spent 2 days at Disneyland!!!

It was soo hella hot though!!!  We did most of our rides after the sun started to go down.

I was so excited to see the new castle, being the princess that I am and all.

And because it was so hot, being on a small world was a nice rest from the heat.

So we went on the Monsters Inc ride for the first time, and we were not impressed.  But I did get to take a picture with Boo!

And Alvin just had to take a picture with the Mickey statue, well maybe I made him take the picture...

So we found out that we're in 5 different happiest faces on earth murals. It took us forever to find someone that could show us where the kiosk was to find the murals, so this is the only one we found.  We're in this one 4 different times!
